LIVES is a charity that works in conjunction with the East Midlands Ambulance Service providing emergency care in life-threatening incidents.

The group is manned by local volunteers and runs entirely on the charitable donations of the community.

Gainsborough First Responders have a newly formed fund-raising team, fronted by their newest member ‘Smiffy 9 Lives’, who has been kindly donated by Smiffys Fancy Dress in Gainsborough.

Managing director Ray Peckett said “I am very proud to support this worthwhile local charity”.

Chairman of the new fund-raising group Lindsey Fanning said “We are very grateful to Smiffy’s for this kind donation and I am sure it will help to provide much needed funds and awareness for the group”
