Members of Swanwick Primary School choir who won the annual Bolsover School Choir Festival at Heritage High School in Clowne

Heritage High School in Clowne staged the 2014 Bolsover Council School Choir Festival.

One of the biggest school choir festivals in the East Midlands, it saw a record 1,400 children representing 28 schools from across Derbyshire and Notts.

Swanwick Primary School wowed a capacity audience of over 2,000 to scoop the top prize and title with their performances of I Will and Electricity.

Nottingham High School were runners-up, while Brookfield Primary was the best Bolsover district school.
