A 92-year-old woman has been left distraught after robbers shoved her into the living room of her home before stealing cash.

The elderly woman found the men in her hallway of her home in Devonshire Road, Ordsall at around 8.30pm on Tuesday 5th March.

It is believed the men got into the house through an unlocked window.

The woman was not injured but has been left shaken by her ordeal.

The men are described as white and aged in their 20s and were wearing hooded jackets.

A Notts Police spokesman said: “This was an extremely distressing experience for this resident and she’s been left shaken and upset.”

“This was a despicable act but thankfully an isolated one as this type of crime is a rare occurrence.”

“If you think you saw anything or have any information in relation to this incident please contact us.”

Anyone with information should contact detective constable Richard Cashmore at Notts Police, on 101. Alternatively call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
