Trial set for scrap case

A TEENAGER has denied driving dangerously on the grounds of North Notts College and also stealing scrap metal.

Antony David Newbury, 19, of Longfellow Drive, Worksop, pleaded not guilty to the charges at Worksop Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 3rd January.

The incidents are alleged to have happened during the same occasion on 27th November last year.

Newbury chose to have his trial at the magistrates’ court rather than the crown court.

The date of trial was set for Wednesday 27th February at the Worksop court.

Newbury was released on unconditional bail until then.
