A SCHOOL theatre group has raised hundreds of pounds for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.

The Mummers Troupe at the Worksop College Preparatory School Ranby House celebrated its 25th year by performing St George and the Dragon.

They performed the traditional mummers play at several private houses as well as at the school.

The charity was chosen by the performers, and they raised £630 for the North Anston-based hospice.

Ranby House is an independent, day and boarding school for boys and girls aged from three to 13 years.

The troupe presented the cheque to Emma Vizor from the hospice.
