POLICE searching the home of a Worksop man found a quantity of party drug MCAT.

They also found mobile phones, one of which contained a text message from a customer asking if he had any drugs.

Darryl Wilson, 22, of Edinburgh Walk, Manton, admitted possessing the class B drug at Worksop Magistrates’ Court.

Andrew Osborne, defending, said only a small amount was found.

“He was using the drug himself and bought more than he needed, to sell on to friends. He was not making a huge profit from this,” he said.

Magistrates fined him £200 and ordered he pay £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge.
