BOLLYWOOD glamour came to Rotherham - and raised £2,000 for Maltby-based dementia charity Lost Chord.

The Bollywood Ball was held at Rotherham United’s New York Stadium, and Lost Chord was one of the main beneficiaries along with Rotherham Hospice and Rotherham Hospital Charity.

Lost Chord provides music therapy for dementia suffers in care homes throughout the region.

Lost Chord chief executive Helena Muller said: “We are extremely grateful for the support of the United Multicultural Centre and in particular all the effort Parveen Qureshi and her staff put in to making the event a real success.”
