Local hoardings help with safety

The contractor working on Maltby Academy is using innovative site hoardings from a local supplier to provide extra protection to the public.

BAM Construction purchased perimeter boards from Barnsley-based Hoard-It to keep the site secure.

BAM will deliver two new buildings for Maltby Academy and refresh, remodel and refurbish other parts.

Project manager Paul Nicholson said: “Safety of staff, subcontractors and the public is of paramount importance to BAM on all its projects.”

“BAM is pleased to be using a local supplier in line with our policy of ensuring our work benefits the local economy, environment and community as much as possible.”
