A PERSISTENT shoplifter is warned he faces prison if he offends again.

David Pashley, 40, of Jubilee Road, Retford, appeared before Worksop magistrates last Thursday.

He had previously admitted stealing various toiletries worth £35.64 from Boots in Retford on 1st August, putting him in breach of his conditional discharge and a community order.

The court heard how Pashley had ‘long standing problems’ and that the probation service had been unable to help him turn his life around.

Magistrates imposed an eight week prison sentence, suspended for six months. They also put Pashley on a three month electronic curfew from 7pm - 7pm.
