The group is celebrating 29 years supporting local charities

Help For Heroes were celebrating recently when the charity received a cheque for £1,300 from the Lyric Theatre in Dinnington.

Graham and Anne Mitchell and members of the Graham Mitchell Presents committee presented a cheque for to Tony Eaton from Help for Heroes at the Laughton Road theatre.

The money was raised from the two Sounds of the 60s dances that were held at the Lyric Theatre last year.

The group is celebrating 29 years supporting local charities this year.

Help For Heroes supports veterans and serving personnel who have been wounded or injured, or have become sick, as a result of serving their country. The charity also supports their families as they care for their loved one, and adapt to the new challenges that they face.
