MOTORISTS are informed that the A57 Dunham Bridge was re-opened today (Thursday 3rd January)

The A57 toll bridge at Dunham on Trent opened to traffic at 1.45pm, under two-way temporary lights due to partial flooding still in place.

A spokesman said: “The lights will be removed as soon as safe two-way traffic flow is possible.”

“The use of lights will inevitably create delays at peak times, but this removes the need for the alternative extensive diversion route.”
