Dad kicked door after drink binge

DAMAGING a door landed a Worksop man with a costly fine.
Worksop magistrates heard how Mathew Mullen, 26, of Radford Street, had been drinking all afternoon on 15th December 2011.
At 9pm he went to his ex-partner’s mother’s house in Lincoln Street where she was with their daughter.
When told he could not see the two-year-old he kicked the front door and other items in the garden.
Defending, Andrew Bevan said: “It was a reckless decision due to the frustration of not being able to see his daughter.
Mullen must pay a total of £350 in fines, compensation and costs, plus £330 in previously unpaid fines.
