Charity concert success

A WORKSOP-BORN singer rocked the house at North Notts Arena for a special charity gig in aid of the Priory Church and the S.A.N.D Club.

Steve Edward’s Rock 4 A Reason concert raised a total of £5,203.06 which will be split between the two charities.

The show raised funds for the Bassetlaw S.A.N.D Sports club for children with disabilities, and the Priory Church heating fund.

Steve said he was really proud to be part of the special event.

“On behalf of S.A.N.D and the Priory Church I’d like to thank the people of Worksop for their generosity & support in raising such a huge amount for both charities. I hope everyone had a great night,” he said.
