Boogie night at North Notts Community Arena

EASTGATE'S North Notts Arena saw over 200 people boogie on down at a 60s and 70s themed night.

In the first event of its kind, the evening was action-packed with a disco, tribute acts, live music, and a pie and pea supper.

The hall, which can hold up to 500 people, proved a great party venue which allowed people to experience what the arena has to offer.

"The evening went exceptionally well," said Nigel Turner, arena manager. "There was a fantastic atmosphere for people to get together for a laugh and a dance."

He added: "We had so many requests to do it again."

Due to the night's success, plans are already underway to hold similar evenings once a month, the next being scheduled for Friday 28th November.

"The details for the next event are currently being finalised, so watch this space. We are also planning our annual New Year's Eve party, as well as a Valentine's Day event," added Mr Turner.
