The district council elections results were announced on Friday 8th May with the Conservatives retaining control of West Lindsey.

The results were as follows:

Gainsborough North: Conservative, Gillian Bardsley, 1,047 (elected), Sheila Bibb, 764 (elected) and Liberal Democrats, Matthew Boles, 964 (elected), Labour 691, Labour 623, Labour 689, Liberal Democrats 549, Liberal Democrats 555 and Conservative 710.

Gainsborough East: Labour, David Bond, 772 (elected), Michael Devine, 885 (elected), and Richard Oaks, 829 (elected), Liberal Democrats 489, Liberal Democrats 489, Conservative 564, Conservative 482, Conservative 587, Other 330 and Liberal Democrats 501.

Gainsborough South West: Liberal Democrats, Judy Rainsworth, 712 (elected) and Trevor Young, 701, (elected), Conservative 366, Independent 197, Labour 475, Conservative 344 and Labour 471.

Hemswell: Conservative, Paul Cowan-Hewitt, 818 (elected), Labour 214, Liberal Democrats 118 and UKIP 251.

Torksey: Conservative, Stuart Kinch, (uncontested).

Lea: Conservative, Jessie Milne, 783 (elected), UKIP 230 and Labour 208.

Scampton: Conservative Roger Patterson, 971 (elected) and Labour 516.
