John Mann MP has revealed that his niece spent an hour hiding from terrorists in a toilet cubicle during the Paris shootings last week.
The MP for Bassetlaw said his niece was working at a bar close to one of the restaurants that was targeted during the terrorist attacks, which happened in the French capital on Friday night (November 13).
“My niece spent an hour cowering in a toilet cubicle with eight other people thinking she would be shot dead,” said Mr Mann.
“If there’s an opportunity to shoot dead any terrorist, I expect security to shoot them dead – as they are entitled to do so under the law.”
At least 129 people are known to have died in the terror attacks, which hit a stadium, concert hall, restaurants and bars.
