OLYMPIC spirit was in full flow at Parish Church Primary School in Gainsborough.

Sporty activities bridged the age gap between the kids and their visitors from Redcotes Care Home in Lea.

Elderly residents took part in such games as the egg and spoon race, while their younger counterparts enjoyed a variety of Olympic-style challenges.

And the day was tinted gold when Olympic relay runner John Anderson dropped in with his golden torch.
