Get your walking boots on and visit the Idle Valley Nature Reserve on Saturday 30th July.
The reserve, on North Road, Retford is holding its annual summer reserve walk.
Led by reserve officer and expert botanist James Simpson, the walk will take you along the whole length of the reserve, so gives walkers a fantastic opportunity for to find out where all the best features are and at what time of year.
The walk will be around five to six miles, starting at 10am including a stop for a picnic or pub lunch. It will last between four and five hours.
Those taking part will learn about the history of the site, see the wildlife and discover a couple of the area’s hidden secrets.
