AUDIENCES at Scunthorpe’s Plowright Theatre will be heading ‘down under’ next week with the latest production from Appleby Frodingham Theatrical Society.
The group, which celebrated its 60th anniversary last year, returns with Ladies Down Under by Amanda Whittington.
The play is full of humour and nostalgia as four ladies from a Hull fish filleting plant fly out to Australia.
It’s the holiday of a lifetime for them all, after coming up trumps at the Ascot races.
Follow their experiences in the outback, encountering mystic spirits and spiders. And a show stopping carnival piece, decked out with full regalia.
Ladies Down Under comes to the Plowright Theatre, Scunthorpe, from Tuesday 24th - Saturday 28th April at 7.30pm.
Tickets priced £8 are available from the box office on 0844 8542776 or online at www.scunthorpetheatres.co.uk
