Maltby people took part in a fitness challenge on Saturday to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation.

The swimathon at Maltby Leisure Centre involved doing 50 lengths of the pool in celebration of the British Heart Foundation’s 50th Anniversary.

And for those who didn’t want to get wet, there was a fitness challenge where entrants tried to complete as many workout classes as possible, including Zumba, Body Attack, Body Pump and many more.

Richard Cowley of DC Leisure said: “As well as having fun and challenging themselves, people raised money to help the British Heart Foundation.”
