Get involved with PACS

TALENTED local youngsters are invited to come forward and take part in one of Gainsborough’s best amateur dramatic groups - who have just announced their new season calendar of events for 2012.

The Performing Arts Club of St John’s is aimed at local people aged nine to 18.

The club is based at the former St Johns Church in Gainsborough (The X Church) between May and July each year and at the St Johns Ambulance HQ in Gainsborough during the winter months.

On April 14th, PACS will be performing Rock of Ages - a concert of song, dance and rock n’ roll music from past to present.

Then in July, PACS will be presenting their very own scripted and produced musical adaptation of The Lion, The With and The Wardrobe with music from classical to pop and rock. They promise that this show will be something very special.

Then, the summer will see the group treating the town to a series of treats at their Gainsborough Riverside Festival Performances and a range of community events, before they start preparing for their annual Christmas Concert in December.

For more information on these events, or to take part or help with PACS in any way, you can get in touch by calling 01427 612870 or emailing pacs2012@yahoo.co.uk
