Potato farmers in Gainsborough have decided to use their produce to create a nativity scene with a difference whilst also raising money for a good cause.
The Williamson family potato farmers have recreated the traditional Christmas nativity scene using a selection of their home grown potatoes.
Sally Williamson and her husband made the display which they have placed in their farm shop and said it had been a hit with customers so far.
Sally said: “Most of our customers think it’s great and haven’t ever seen anything like it before.”
The display is all for a good cause, as the Williamson’s are using it to raise money for LIVES, which is a Lincolnshire-based first responder charity, aimed to help with accident response in rural areas.
