STUDENTS from Retford Oaks took part in a student forum in London recently.
They met leading politicians, economists and development agencies at the Global Student Forum that emulates the G8 Summit.
The forum focuses on the subject dying for life.
Retford Oaks students - who included Eleanor Brown, Libby Godbehere, Amy Hartley, Emma Scott, Emma Whellans, Emma Kershaw, Amy Street and Devon Newboult - participated in the conference and learnt all about the women who die during childbirth due to living in a developing country.
They now plan to go back to school to teach others both at Retford Oaks and the community about the issue.
The pupils were taken on the trip by teachers Rosie Shepston and James Hunt.
