Rotherham National Union of Teachers (NUT) is holding a public meeting later this month for anyone that maybe affected by potential academy conversions.
The NUT supports a local school for every child, under the democratic control of the local authority and opposes the privitisation of education through the academies programme.
A meeting will be held at Rotherham Town Hall on Thursday 27th June from 5pm. Tea and coffee will be served from 4.45pm.
The meeting will hear from headteacher Craig Roberts, Rotherham councillor Brian Steele and members of the NUT in Rotherham.
