TUXFORD School had a group of special visitors recently when a group of education officials from Brazil attended.
Officials from the Brazilian Ministry of Education were in the UK to get a general picture of the education system as well as the approach to sport in schools.
They visited Tuxford School because it is linked to the International Inspiration programme.
While in the country they also visited schools in London, a Premier league club to see teaching of languages through community programmes as well as two Notts schools.
Tuxford School was selected for a visit to show the work that had been done through the International Inspiration projects which it has been involved in for the last three years.
It is a pilot project, which aims to deliver the Singapore Vision - the promise made by the London 2012 bid to reach young people all around the world and connect them to the inspirational power of the games.
