I know first hand what it is like to have to deal with the trauma of having anti-social neighbours.

The constant noise and intimidation can make your life an absolute misery.

This is what some residents on Lancastrian Way in Worksop have have had to endure recently.

Thankfully, Bassetlaw Council and Notts Police have dealt with the situation and have closed the flat down while they seek to evict the nuisance tenant.

It is far from straightforward for the authorities to take this sort of action through the courts.

It takes lots of man hours and reams of paperwork to deal with anti-social tenants.

That is why it is commendable that the council and police are showing they mean business in tackling this problem.
