A PAINTER and decorator was caught drink driving after falling out with his girlfriend at a wedding.

Joshua Bradshaw, 21, of Boscombe Road, Worksop admitted drink driving on 4th December at Worksop Magistrates’ Court.

He was stopped by police at the junction of Ashes Park and Gateford Road around 12.45am.

Prosecutor Kate Beardmore said he told police he had driven off after falling out with his girlfriend at a wedding.

Defence solicitor Tony Hadfield said the decision to drive was ‘a foolish one.’

Bradshaw’s 14 month ban will be cut by 14 weeks if he completes the drink drive rehabilitation course.

He was also ordered to pay a £150 fine, £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge.
