COMMUNITY groups will be able to pitch for funding to improve their neighbourhoods in a Dragon’s Den style scheme.

Up to £10,000 is up for grabs thanks to a partnership between A1 Housing and the Bassetlaw Association of Tenants and Residents Association (BATRA).

BATRAs Den will offer community and voluntary groups the opportunity to make a short pitch to the ‘Dragons’. If they impresses then the group will walk away with a share of the money.

To be eligible to enter, pitches must be made on behalf of community and voluntary groups operating in Bassetlaw and they must have members who are A1 tenants or dependents who reside with A1 Housing tenants.

Applications must be submitted by 15th February. To get an application form and more information on eligibility, call 0800 590542 between 8am and 5pm.

Successful applicants will be invited to pitch their case in front of the BATRA Dragons on Tuesday 5th March at Worksop Town Hall.
