Residents and staff at Waterside Grange Care Home celebrated their Dignity Day in style!
Workers were invited to choose and era and dress up accordingly as part of St George’s Day celebrations.
Residents enjoyed a wartime tribute by Razzle Dazzle Theatre Productions and there was also a tombola, table top sale, crafts and a cake stall.
During the afternoon staff paraded in their fancy dress costumes and residents were asked to guess the era.
Liz Rennocks, senior activity co-ordinator, said: “A huge thank you to all who participated because without such positive input from so many the day would not have been such a huge success.”
Dignity Action Day is an annual opportunity for health and social care workers, and members of the public to uphold people’s rights to dignity and provide a truly memorable day for people who use care services.
