The number of arrests made by Notts Police in relation to the riots earlier this week has exceeded 100.
A further three arrests were made last night (Thursday) in what was otherwise a second consecutive peaceful night in Nottingham.
It brings the total arrested to 108.
Those detained continue to be interviewed and charged, and more will be appearing in court throughout today.
The force continued its policy of mounting a significant presence on the streets of the city and neighbouring areas following Tuesday night’s disorder.
Assistant Chief Constable Paul Broadbent said: “There will be no let up in our round-the-clock presence on the streets of the city and county tonight and in the days to come.”
“And we are relentlessly pursuing those who participated in the criminality that tarnished our city on Tuesday evening and I expect that more people will be arrested today.”
