Communty-minded Tesco staff have been raising cash for the National Autistic Society (NAS).

Staff members handed over a cheque to Coun Keith Stringer who is an official fund raiser for the charity.

The sum of £60 was raised during a sponsored bag pack at the High Street store.

Coun Stringer has a grandson with autism which is why he collects for NAS in Maltby and the wider area.

Said Keith: “My collections are a way of thanking NAS for the help they give to my family and all the other people with this condition.”

“Tesco has raised lots for for the community.”
