A DENTAL surgery in Retford is celebrating after been given a top award - just four months after opening.

DeNtal22 Dental Care has been awarded the British Dental Association’s Good Practice award.

Since opening the team at DeNtal 22 has bee working hard to comply with the standard of the British Dental Association Good Pratice Scheme and their commitment to high standards has been recognised with the award.

One of the prinicipal dentists at the surgery said they were delighted with the award.

“The team here works so hard to provide a good service to our patients. We involve all our patients in their treatment right from the start. We discuss the options available and give them all the information they need to decide which is best for them. They then receive a written outline of the agreed treatment, how many appointments they need and what it will cost.”

“Patient waiting times are kept to a minimum and every effort is made to make appointments that are convenient to the patient and the patient is happy and comfortable.”

Margaret Naylor, another of the principal dentists, said: “I am so proud of the team here at DeNtal22. We have invested heavily in the practice to ensure that the quality of our service is good and our staff training is excellent.”

Manager Sarah Thompson said: ““We are delighted that DeNtal22 have gained this award and it reflects our commitment to quality. The principal dentists are committed to dentistry in this region to ensure a high standard of care to all our patients and hope to build on this success.”
