Snow closes Doncaster Sheffield Airport

robin Hood Airport was an early casualty of the deep snow blanketing Doncaster overnight.

A spokesman for the airport: “The runway is currently closed due to snowfall over night. The team have been working throughout the night to clear the runway, taxi routes and stands.

“Passengers are advised to contact the airline directly for updates. Travellers are advised to leave plenty of time for their journey to the airport.

“Regular updates will be posted on the airport’s website, facebook and twitter pages.”
