Farmers across the county are inviting everyone to join them on the 17th June for the annual Open Farm Sunday - with Uncle Henry’s Farm Shop and Cafe in Kirton in Lindsey putting on their own unique family fun day.
Owner of Uncle Henry’s and Farmer, Steve Ward is hoping 2012’s event will be their most successful yet.
Steve said: “This year we have more activities planned, such as some Olympic themed activities in our main ring, but we are still keeping some of the Open Farm Sunday favourites we know our visitors love, such as the trailer rides, falconry display and hog roast.”
The event, now in its seventh year, gives visitors an interesting insight into life on a farm in fun way that engages all the senses.
Uncle Henry’s Open Farm Sunday is free to enter and will run from 11am-6pm.
