Bassetlaw MP John Mann met with guide dog owners in the Houses of Parliament to hear about their experiences of being turned away by businesses.
Over 100 guide dog owners had travelled to Westminster from across the country to talk to their MPs about the discrimination they face in their daily lives
Mr Mann met Bassetlaw resident SteveBowles who said he had been refused access to taxi services and businesses due to having a guide dog.
Steve said: “My guide dog Flynn helps me to be independent and he assists me with doing everyday tasks. When you’re illegally refused entry to a service due to the guide dog it also takes away a bit of your freedom.”
