Road repairs worth £600,000 are scheduled across Derbyshire in February.
They include road resurfacing worth £75,000 on Clowne Road at Barlborough and further patching work on the A619 Worksop Road, Barlborough.
Some roads will close temporarily while work takes place.
The money is part of a £35 million package Derbyshire County Council plans to spend on highway improvements in 2013/14.
Coun Dean Collins, deputy cabinet member for jobs, economy and transport, said: “An efficient transport network is essential to building a thriving local economy.”
“That’s why we’re carrying out repairs and improvements to keep the county’s roads in a decent condition.”
