A Kilton community centre received a boost after it was chosen as Asda’s Community Life cause.

PCSO Ryan Bowskill collected a cheque for £124.74 from Community Life co-ordinator Sharon Ward and Memorial Avenue store manager Gary Cook on behalf of the Online Youth and Community Centre on Plantation Hill.

The centre, located in the former New Life Church building, will contain a skate park, cinema and three Olympic table tennis tables, and be available for community use.
