Animal bodies found in a gully

THE RSPCA is appealing for information after the bodies of several animals were found dumped by the roadside in a Notts village.
The bodies of two goats and one pig were found earlier this month dumped in a deep gully in Wiseton.
They were discovered in the ditch at a location in Wiseton which runs along the A631 road.
It is not clear when the bodies were dumped but the RSPCA were called to the scene on Thursday 10th January and are now appealing for anyone with information about who owned them or know how they died to contact them.
The bodies were discovered by a member of public who had found lots of household waste dumped in black bin bags.
According to the RSPCA it was initially thought that the bodies found were of dogs.
An RSPCA inspector then attended the scene and found the decomposing bodies of two goats and a pig.
One of the goats is believed to be an adult and had large horns.
The pig found was two-tone brown in colour.
The RSPCA said there seems to be no obvious cause of death, but they would like to hear from anyone who may have information regarding who owned these animals or may have known how they died.
They have said that there may be an innocent explanation for the bodies but anyone with information is urged to call the RSPCA inspector appeal line on 0300 123 8018.
