A RETFORD supermarket is asking people to nominate a community group that is in need of a helping hand.
Asda is asking local people to put pen to paper and nominate a project, which is in need of £400 and continued support from the store.

Andy Fryer, general store manager at Asda Retford, says: “Our recent refurbishment has been a fantastic boost for us and has increased the range of choice and value available for customers at our store.”

”We want to extend our thanks by giving a little extra back to help improve life in Retford.”

“There are so many local groups who are deserving of support, it would be great to hear who our customers and local people would like to support.”

To qualify, the community group must impact positively on the community – from the hardworking sports team, to the local neighbourhood watch, or struggling youth group.

Nominations should be made in writing to: jessy.prestidge@bisslancaster.com or posted to: ASDA Retford Community Group, Biss Lancaster, 4 Jordan Street, Manchester, M15 4PY.

Nominations should contain all contact details including a daytime telephone number.
