FORMER pupils and staff of Retford's Carr Hill Primary are invited to join in Saturday's summer fair that marks the school's 60th birthday.
“It’s for pupils, parents and former pupils, everyone is incredibly welcome,” said Charlotte Robinson, who works at the school.

“There’s going to be loads going off. We’re even having a Carr Hill’s Got Talent competition with judges.”

Youngsters are going to be producing 60th anniversary tea-towels and there will be a special Carr Hill quiz on the day.

“We’re really hoping ex-staff and pupils will come along. We’ll be putting up memorabilia and old photos.”

“It will be a great day out for all the family with tombolas, slides, horse riding, crafts and much more.”

Organising the 4th July event has been a team effort between staff and the parent teacher association.

All money raised on the day will go back into funding for the Tiln Road school.
