Roving auctioneer Craig Bewick, from the firm’s Brigg auction rooms, will be at the Grove Street premises to value antiques and collectables from vases, med
als and antique toys to furniture and fine art.
The antiques and collectibles valuation day will run from 10am until 4pm.
“While the valuation service is free, tea and coffee will be provided and those attending may like to make a small donation to Macmillan Cancer Support, Brown and Co’s chosen charity,” said chartered surveyor Jeremy Baguley.

WHEATLEY Tennis Club is holding its annual start of the season open day on Saturday 26th April from 2pm at the club.
All prospective, new, existing and returning members are welcome to attend the friendly get together with the chance to play some tennis.
The club is also holding a race night on 10th May at Wheatley Village Hall, from 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £10 and includes a pie and pea supper.

FIREFIGHTERS in Retford are holding a charity car wash on Saturday 10th May.
The event has been organised to raise funds for Ian Tape, who used to work at Retford Fire Station and was badly injured in a fire in Sheffield, and for the Benevolent fund
Retford’s fire crews will be car washing from 9am-4pm at the station on Wharf Road.

AS part of Bassetlaw Council’s Spring Clean initiative, Tuxford Parish Council is holding its annual tidy-up on Saturday 26th April.
Plastic gloves and black bags will be provided for volunteers, who are asked to meet outside the Newcastle Arms in the market place at 10am.
Meanwhile, organisers point out that people can play their part in keeping Tuxford tidy by picking up litter in their particular area at all times of the year.
