EMPLOYEES from a Retford hair salon will soon be jetting off to America to see how hairdressing is carried out USA-style.
Benita Sweetnam, Beverley Hobbs and Ryan Dixon, from the Grove Street salon Sweetnam and Hobbs, have been chosen from 15 UK salons to make the exciting flight of a lifetime.

Courtesy of Tigi, manufacturers of the well-known range of hair products, the trio will be flying by Virgin from Heathrow to Los Angeles where they will be met by a Hummer limo to transport them to their Hyatt Regency Hotel.

Throughout their five-day stay in the States, Benita, Beverley and Ryan will not only sit in on seminars conducted by some of the top hairdressers, there will also be time out to see the sights as well.

These include a visit to Universal Studios and a tour of the stars' homes.

Said Benita: "Tigi have invited their most progressive salons to take this trip."

"This includes those who demonstrate the most improvement in customer care as well as those who invest in their team and take advantage of the latest technology and training."
