Retford firefighters will be swapping their hoses and helmets for buckets and sponges on Saturday during a charity car wash at the station.
The team will be cleaning cars in a bid to raise cash for the firefighters benevolent fund.

"We'll be predominantly raising money for firefighter Ian Tape, who was badly burnt in a fire in South Yorkshire. He was employed at Retford fire station for a number of years," said Val Atkinson, administrator.

Residents wanting their cars washed can visit the station on Wharf Road between 9am and 4pm.
