BUDDING filmstars showed off their talents at an Environmental Film Festival at Retford's Elizabethan High School.
Feeder primary schools from the surrounding area came to the school to watch viewings of films they had made about improving the environment.
Film topics ranged from a call for people to be more environmentally friendly to a school who grew their own vegetables from allotment to school canteen.
”We even had popcorn for a real cinema effect,” said Jenny Lane, headteacher at Everton Primary School, who helped co-ordinate the event.
”The kids were really interested and attentive as the films were played. It was really good.”
Children also got the chance to talk and learn from members of the Retford and District Photographic Society.
