RETFORD'S Everything Pet Rescue has scooped a £12,000 grant to help complete a number of projects at its Crossing Cottage Kennels.
The charity received the donation from Support Adoption for Pets, the charity established and supported by the UK’s leading pet retailer, Pets at Home.

The centre has plans to re-roof 10 kennels and create concrete bases for two new kennels, as well as build a new washing and food preparation area.

The aim of the project is to ensure that as many animals as possible are quickly re-homed into loving family environments where they will be well cared-for.

Support Adoption for Pets raised £650,000 in its first full year under that name – it was first established in 2004 as the Pets at Home Charitable Foundation.

The charity’s aims are to promote and encourage the re-homing of adoptable pets, supporting animal welfare charities and encouraging responsible pet ownership.
