WIN family tickets to top wildlife attraction

DISCOVER a wild family day out without the crowds with this week's fantastic competition to win one of five family passes to North Anston's Tropical Butterfly House, Wildlife and Falconry Centre.

The popular visitor attraction has been bursting at the seams with visitors this year but with the children back at school, now is the perfect time for a relaxed visit while still catching the last days of summer.

Get close to lots of free-roaming animals, handle exotic snakes, magnificent birds of prey and feed marmoset moneys, lorikeets and many more amazing creatures.

Call at Meerkat Mansion and the other new outdoor enclosures to see how the residents have settled in. The Baby Bunkhouse has also has a makeover this year, with new enclosures designed to provide the centre's cutest residents with natural habitats.

Or why not relax with a coffee while the kids dig in the sandpit, take to the wheel of a pedal car and try out the aerial glide.

This year the centre introduced Keeper Experiences, a unique opportunity to get behind the scenes and see what it really takes to be an animal keeper.

During October the centre hosts its annual Halloween Spooktacular every weekend and daily during the half-term from 24th to 31st October – offering plenty of spooky fun for all ages.

There's free admission for every child wearing Halloween attire when accompanied by a full paying adult – the event is suitable for children of all ages and there's no need to book.
