Sports sessions are just a Blast

A SPORTS session at North Notts Arena is giving people with disabilities the chance to try out a range of activities.

They can try out everything from basketball and kwik cricket, to table tennis and snooker, all aimed at the group’s wishes and abilities.

Called The Blast, it runs from 10am to 3pm every Wednesday and costs £5, which includes lunch and drinks throughout the day.

Nigel Page, of Sapphire Community Care Services, said: “The ‘Blast is totally geared towards my service user group and fulfils all the criteria required for my customers to get as much as possible from a recreational and leisure pursuit, with terrific value for money.”

The team organising the sessions are dedicated to providing a high level of service to people who use it, and giving value for money in these times of cutbacks.

For further information contact Nigel Turner at the Arena on 480164
