Final Friday promises laughs

LAUGH your troubles from the working week away at tonight's Final Friday Comedy Club at Worksop's The Regal theatre.

The Carlton Road venue will welcome another line-up of comedy acts that are guaranteed to put a smile on your face for the weekend.

This week, James Sherwood will be taking to the stage to entertain audiences with a preview show to the one he is taking to the Edinburgh Fringe in the summer.

His debut Edinburgh show back in 2006 dubbed I Know What You Did Last Sunday was a complete sell out.

Next up will be Damion Larkin, who was a stockbroker and has now become a firm favourite on the comedy circuit with his surreal stories and razor-sharp ad-libs.

Also appearing will be stand-up offerings from Max Dickins with his dark one-liners and Winston Smith.

The whole show will be compered by Anthony J Brown – winner of the Jongleurs Stand and Deliver Award.

Doors open at 7pm with entrance tickets costing 6-8. For further information, you can call the box office on 01909 474458.
