Regarding information requested about the locomotive (pictured bottom left).

The station is Wickham Station on Alton (Hampshire) to Knowle Junction North of Fareham on the Meon Valley Line.

It was the last train, 4.30 ex-Alton-Knowle on 5th February 1955. The 30055 was at this time a 75E - Three Bridges Shed loco, the shed being ex-London, Brighton and South Coast railway depot. Engineer Dugald Drummond, ex-Caledonian RLY to London and South Western RLY 1897 to 1912. First M7 0-4-4T designed 1897, almost a copy of one of his Caledonian locos. The M7 30055 built Dec 1905 at Nine Elms Works, London (now Covent Garden Market). It was withdrawn from service in September 1963 and scrapped in February 1964.
