Directed by Marjane Satrapi, starring Chiara Mastroianni, Catherine Deneuve and Danielle Darrieux. Nine-year-old Marjane stars in this animated feature. Fundamentalists take power, force the veil on women and imprison thousands. The story then follows her as she cleverly outsmarts the "social guardians" and discovers punk, ABBA and Iron Maiden while living with the terror of Government persecution.
